Pricing
Free to start, with a limited weekly discussion allowance. Resage Plus — $4.99/month or $39.99/year — gives you more discussions. Importing, reading, read-through and text recognition are never metered; the allowance is spent only on discussions.
How to Get It
Two channels, both from resage.app: the Mac App Store, or a notarized .dmg that updates itself. App Store availability excludes the EU, mainland China, Russia and Belarus; the direct download is available worldwide — so please link to resage.app rather than to the App Store page.

Your Files Stay Yours
Your files live on your Mac and in your own iCloud. Reading and indexing run on your device; only the small passages needed to answer a question you asked are ever sent out. We never train models on your files. Discussions are answered by a model running on our server — Resage is not a fully offline app, and we don't claim to be.
Grounded, and Willing to Say "I'm Not Sure"
Answers are anchored to the real text of your file, and quoted passages link back to the page they came from. When Resage isn't sure, it is built to say so rather than fill the gap — and when it draws on general knowledge instead of your file, it labels it as such. It matters most with the classics.
Inspectable & Editable Profile
What Resage infers about your reading background, interests, and knowledge gaps is completely visible and editable by you at any time — never a hidden black box.
