It depends on how much work the AI does to answer. A quick question about the current page or sentence uses the least; questions that search a whole chapter, the entire file, or several files for evidence — or that need careful enumeration and cross-checking — use a bit more. The AI decides this automatically, so you don't have to think about it. You can see your current percentage left and next refresh time anytime in the app's Settings.
Subscriptions are handled exclusively inside the Mac app — there is no checkout on this website. Which payment path you get depends on the build you downloaded: the direct download (.dmg) checks out through Paddle, our merchant of record; the Mac App Store build uses an Apple in-app subscription. Either way you sign in first, and Plus follows your account across builds and devices.

Yes. Your private learner profile/memory and iCloud sync are completely free and run on your own device and iCloud account, with no subscription walls.
Cancel anytime, from wherever you paid. If you subscribed in the direct download (.dmg), use the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt email, or email hello@resage.app. If you subscribed through the Mac App Store, cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Plus until then. See the refund policy for how refunds work on each path.
